What began as a humble endeavour in a garden shed in 2004 has evolved into a thriving multimillion-pound business having navigated a competitive business climate and experienced highs and lows along the way.
From its original vision of providing professional consultancy, safety control systems and engineering services the company now employs almost 80 people, operating across the transitional energy sector and several other highly regulated industries, providing full turnkey solutions to its clients across the UK and Europe. We pride ourselves on our ability to exceed client expectations and requirements in value and quality by adopting a flexible approach.

Experiencing unparalleled growth
Over the past 24 months, we have solidified our position as a control and automation systems key player by securing multimillion-pound projects in renewable energy, such as offshore wind projects.
In July 2022, we became part of the RSK family of companies, which supports our ambitious expansion plans to achieve sustained and manageable growth. We will focus on nurturing talent, fostering innovation and strengthening internal capabilities by offering targeted training programmes. This is to ensure our team is equipped with the latest skills and knowledge to maintain a competitive edge and we will encourage future development via a variety of apprenticeships and graduate engineering programmes.
Staff celebration
The celebration was for staff to reflect on the journey that has taken us to this milestone year of business.
Managing Director Richard Miller discussed our current growth, thanking everyone for their hard work and dedication. He also welcomed guests from our parent company, RSK Group, who made the journey from opposite ends of the country to be part of our celebrations.
Dr Dorian Hindmarsh provided a commercial and sales overview, which was followed by Sharon Ware, Financial Controller, discussing the last financial year’s performance and the work in progress for the current financial year.
A safety moment was delivered by Steven Morris, QHSE Manager, reminding us to ensure we have the appropriate PPE that is suitable for the environment we are operating within and to use it accordingly.
And last but not least, Kevin Magee, our founder, reflected upon the journey the business and he have gone through over the years, the bumps in the road and the highlights and lowlights of running a successful business.
We all then went outside for a barbecue lunch and enjoyed the chance to catch up and chat with colleagues. We even managed to see sunshine!
