We are pleased to announce that during ACHEMA in Hamburg, Germany, Dr Dorian Hindmarsh our commercial director, was invited to receive Proeon’s official Process Control System 7 (PCS7) Partner status from Siemens.
The PCS7 journey has taken almost ten years of working on smaller scale projects to help us to build our knowledge and confidence. Since our first major wind farm project two years ago, our expertise in this discipline has grown exponentially, enabling us to reach PCS7 Partner status. The Official Siemens Digital Industries and Process Automation Partner plaque will be displayed at our facilities.
This accolade opens up our ability to continue to penetrate the European and global wind farm and national energy infrastructure markets for SCADA development. The added process and safety control in the hydrogen sector is already proving to be interesting. We will continue to grow our delivery of our bespoke systems, working closely with high-profile projects and clients, who demand the highest levels of robustness, availability and cybersecurity.
We must also give a shout out to our hard working and innovative engineering team members, who have been instrumental in helping us to achieve this status. Their continued personal enhancement through training, development and industry knowledge, perpetuates our excellent working relationships, in collaboration with Siemens colleagues and our clients.
The presentation was made by Axel Lorenz, CEO Process Automation at Siemens AG, together with Dr Ruth Flosdorff, Head of Global Partner Sales, Siemens Process Automation, and Rihab Ehm, General Manager Process Automation, (hydrogen, growth and transformation, automation and digitalisation) at Siemens.
