Turnkey offshore platform designs & engineering

Amongst the most demanding structures outside the nuclear industry are those engineered and operated by the offshore industry. Offshore structures today, as in the past, remain a vital part of the infrastructure for energy projects, for carbon management programmes and for essential hydrocarbon production requirements around the globe.

From custom designed platforms for offshore greenfield developments, to upgrade modifications on existing brownfield sites - we can identify, design and engineer the most appropriate and cost-effective facilities and solutions.

Innovative concepts & a proven approach

Over the past two decades there has been a significant increase in the number of operating companies looking for alternatives to conventional fixed platform design and construction. Our management and senior engineers have been working on such alternatives since the 2000s and their philosophy offers significant economies in time and money. Adoption of modular platform design has enabled real savings to be made in regard to fabrication, loadout, transportation and offshore construction. In many cases Offshore Supply Vessels and Project Jack-up Rigs have managed the platform installations without the requirement to mobilise specialist heavy lift vessels and crane barges.

This development approach is proven to offer significant project budget savings, reducing offshore costs and schedule risks.

Integrated digital field development

For many years digital data management has been the staple of hi-tech industries such as automotive and manufacturing. With mature standards and management systems for BIM (Building Information Modelling), the AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) industries are following suit. We see a growing urgency for intelligent data management, analytics, and digital twinning of plant assets, whole field developments, and wider energy infrastructures.

Proeon is uniquely positioned to provide a fully integrated turnkey approach to the design of systems and structures for future offshore digital platform developments.
