With the cost of living hitting many, youth football can be one of the first to suffer, with many Youth Clubs in the UK reliant upon volunteer support from team member parents and dwindling outside support.
Matt Cole, one of Proeon’s key CAD Engineers was looking to replace the strip for the children of the North Walsham Town FC U12’s (who will play in the Under 12s Norfolk Combined Youth Football League).
As anyone involved in youth football will know, a football strip takes a huge punishment of rough and tumble on the pitch, multiple machine washings and the U12s strip was looking tired. That’s where Proeon were proud to step in to support.
Proeon actively engages with its local community, from supporting STEMM agenda educational and careers events, through to Scout groups and of course football.
Richard Miller, Managing Director of Proeon Systems recently went along to North Walsham where he presented the newly branded football shirts to North Walsham Town FC U12s
Richard commented:
“With small investments in time and funding, Proeon is supporting the community to overcome its challenges, and hopefully we’re interacting with the Engineers of the future as Proeon is seen as a successful Engineering house and growing local employer.”
Proeon wish the team well and will be keeping an eye on their progress throughout the forthcoming season.
