Proeon are proud to announce that our Managing Director, Kevin Magee, has been successful in gaining a place on EEEGR's new Offshore Wind Supply Chain Special Interest Group.
The steering group will look to meet quarterly and ensure that it works collaboratively with local and regional businesses, government and industry experts to support and strengthen the supply chain and competitiveness within the region.
The aim of the group is to establish the East of England as a centre of excellence within the UK for the ever growing Offshore Wind industry and the group will meet to set terms of reference, develop strategies, target desired outcomes, and establish subjects for industry related events.
Kevin Magee commented, "I am grateful to have been appointed onto the EEEGR Offshore Wind Industry Special Interest Group and very much look forward to working alongside the other group members in our aim for a greater, more collaborative, industry. The East of England has seen an impressive amount of growth within the Renewable Energy Sector, especially Offshore Wind, and to be a part of shaping the future of that growth is something I feel strongly about."
