During 2024 Proeon Systems Ltd. has had the opportunity, as members of the EIC (Energy Industries Council), to participate in this year's edition of #Survive and #Thrive process. A global initiative from the #EIC sharing success stories and encouraging collaboration to address the challenges faced by businesses in driving the energy transition.
Culminating in the EIC (Energy Industries Council)’s National Awards 2024 on 10 October. We were thrilled that our contribution has resulted in us being shortlisted as finalists in two categories:

The EIC (Energy Industries Council) National Awards evening will take place on Thursday 10 October in central London. All EIC (Energy Industries Council) category finalists have been chosen by a remote judging panel, tasked with scoring each entry against a series of pre-set questions. 👀 Watch this space for an update.
Proeon are delighted to have been revealed on the Ecowende Website as a trusted partner.
Proeon systems is responsible for the engineering design, supply, installation and integration of electrical control systems in the offshore high voltage substation for Hollandse Kust West. This substation connects Ecowende’s wind farm to TenneT’s offshore grid. roeon share Ecowendes vision for utilising innovation and sustainable development in the construction of this wind farm and future wind farms.
Proeon are delivering engineering design and manufacture of the Wind Park Operator (WPO) network, utilising the latest in secure digital technology and industrial best practices. Systems include: power distribution, metering and ecology systems, for the WPO room at the offshore high voltage substation.
Proeon share Ecowendes vision for utilising innovation and sustainable development in the construction of this wind farm and future wind farms.
We bid farewell to our Founder and Technical Director Kevin Magee 👋 . After 20 years at the helm, Kevin is taking a well deserved break, a new chapter awaits him, whilst we here Proeon Systems Ltd. will miss him greatly, we will carry on with the legacy he has handed over to us. During 2024 we celebrate a milestone achievement - the company’s 20th Anniversary!

Beast from the East hits SNS2018 - Due to plummeting temperatures across the UK and heavy snow across Norfolk organisers were forced to cancel SNS2018 last week. Disappointing for all those exhibitors and participants who had been looking forward to the event. Understandable that organisers considered safety first of those involved. Onwards and upwards now that everyone has recovered from the disruption caused due to the heavy snow, ice and gale force winds.
Siemens SP Conference and Dinner - Dr Dorian Hindmarsh (Business Dev Manager) together with Sandeep Menon (Commercial Engineer) will be travelling to join colleagues in Oulton Hall Leeds, participating in the Siemens Solution Partner Conference. They will hear updates from Siemens, network with colleagues and participate in the Conference Activity Programme, then later attend the evening Dinner. A very busy couple of days coming up.

Randall Williams, Proeon Systems Fire & Gas Engineer publishes article in September issue of Hazardex Magazine entitled "Gas Mapping is it worth it?". In his article Randall outlines the importance of undertaking a gas detection survey to demonstrate that the responsible persons within companies have done all that is reasonably practicable to protect any operatives from risk.
