During 2024 Proeon Systems Ltd. has had the opportunity, as members of the EIC (Energy Industries Council), to participate in this year's edition of #Survive and #Thrive process. A global initiative from the #EIC sharing success stories and encouraging collaboration to address the challenges faced by businesses in driving the energy transition.

All EIC (Energy Industries Council) category finalists have been chosen by a remote judging panel, tasked with scoring each entry against a series of pre-set questions. 👀 Watch this space for an update.

Proeon systems is responsible for the engineering design, supply, installation and integration of electrical control systems in the offshore high voltage substation for Hollandse Kust West. This substation connects Ecowende’s wind farm to TenneT’s offshore grid. roeon share Ecowendes vision for utilising innovation and sustainable development in the construction of this wind farm and future wind farms.
Proeon are delivering engineering design and manufacture of the Wind Park Operator (WPO) network, utilising the latest in secure digital technology and industrial best practices. Systems include: power distribution, metering and ecology systems, for the WPO room at the offshore high voltage substation.
Proeon share Ecowendes vision for utilising innovation and sustainable development in the construction of this wind farm and future wind farms.
We bid farewell to our Founder and Technical Director Kevin Magee 👋 . After 20 years at the helm, Kevin is taking a well deserved break, a new chapter awaits him, whilst we here Proeon Systems Ltd. will miss him greatly, we will carry on with the legacy he has handed over to us. Another busy month here at Proeon Systems, our Commercial Manager - Dr Dorian Hindmarsh co-hosted an event with our colleague Mr Randall Williams, our Fire & Gas Technical Authority . The event - “Hydrogen What’s it all about event”, was hosted here at our facilities within Hethel Engineering Centre, on 11 January.
Next stop #Hazardex2023 not long now - look out for our Proeon Systems Ltd. Fire & Gas Technical Authority Randall Williams who will be speaking at the Conference on 1 March, the 2-day Conference and Exhibition will take place in Harrogate. His presentation will discuss : “Unpacking the new British Standard 60080 for toxic gas detection”. Randall led the BSI panel on developing this standard and will seek to unpack the practical implications for applying the new standard.

Proeon Systems are pleased to be part of the team comprising of Sowento, Ryder Geotechnical, DNV to support the success of Hexicon’cs 32 MW TwinHub floating wind project in the UK.
We will be working with London Marine Consultants (LMC), as the project moves into construction, installation, and start-up.
London Marine Consultants (LMC) has been selected as Principal Designer for upon receiving the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) contract for the project.. LMC specializes in marine engineering design and provision of mooring systems and has experience in offshore projects requiring installation, logistics, heavy lift engineering, and decommissioning.
The TwinHub floating offshore wind farm site is located 16 kilometres off the coast of Hayle in Cornwall.
The offshore site investigation works with geophysical surveys have already commenced and the results of the final project will be used to progress the FEED for the offshore wind farm, which is developed by Hexicon and supported by Bechtel.

We had prepared a Demonstration Video to introduce them to what they would experience during the programme, this was accompanied with a “User Requirement Specification”, to enable them to familiarise themselves with what they would be designing during the next 2 weeks (11-22 July 2022).

Proeon are keen to contribute to the development of the technical skills and interests of young people within our local area and working with UTCN enables us to provide this opportunity.
