Proeon are pleased to be offering to asset operators both on and offshore, a strategic method of reducing operation costs. Through a collaboration between Proeon, SAAB, Bartec Pixavi, and 21st Century Video, we are now offering an integrated remote assistance system. This specialist system comprises of live “eyesight” video streaming from personnel in the field with remote control communications to a centralised multi asset operation & maintenance team based onshore.
Through Proeon’s integration of a wireless, streaming, helmet mounted camera system, or a wearable “smart phone” style personal device with a remote control multifunction access panel gives the access and security of asset communication devices such as radios, telephony and PAGA.
By locating highly skilled engineers in a central onshore location, and providing maintenance support to multiple assets rather than just the one, it will allow for a reduction of offshore or site time for skilled engineers. This allows them to cover more assets, efficiently.
Mobilisations of specialist vendors may also be reduced as faults and issues may be remotely diagnosed without the need to attend the offshore asset.
With the possibility of independently recording video and taking still photos as well as live feed video communication, the system may be used for video documentation of inspection, maintenance, operation, emergency drills, first aid and of course training.
