Proeon Systems supporting LMC for Hexicon's 32 MW Twin Hub floating wind project
Proeon Systems are pleased to be part of the team comprising of Sowento, Ryder Geotechnical, DNV to support the success of Hexicon’cs 32 MW TwinHub floating wind project in the UK.
We will be working with London Marine Consultants (LMC), as the project moves into construction, installation, and start-up.
London Marine Consultants (LMC) has been selected as Principal Designer for upon receiving the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) contract for the project.. LMC specializes in marine engineering design and provision of mooring systems and has experience in offshore projects requiring installation, logistics, heavy lift engineering, and decommissioning.
The TwinHub floating offshore wind farm site is located 16 kilometres off the coast of Hayle in Cornwall.
The offshore site investigation works with geophysical surveys have already commenced and the results of the final project will be used to progress the FEED for the offshore wind farm, which is developed by Hexicon and supported by Bechtel.

Proeon Work Experience Programme Update
Proeon are very pleased with the progress of the participants in our work experience programme, they have been engaged on this programme at Proeon’s facilities over the past 2 weeks.
The programme began with an induction into Health & Electrical Safety at Proeon, preparing them to begin their journey with us.
We had prepared a Demonstration Video to introduce them to what they would experience during the programme, this was accompanied with a “User Requirement Specification”, to enable them to familiarise themselves with what they would be designing during the next 2 weeks (11-22 July 2022).
